On Oct 30th (Sunday) in 2022, 

The Association invited the Motherland Tour group for a luncheon at Sanchon in Insa-dong on June 10, 2008. The group, consisting of 33 adoptees and their parents, and two tour leaders, enjoyed the Korean traditional Bibimbab at the Buddhist temple cuisine restaurant.

Welcome speech was made by Mr. CY Ha, the new president of the association, following an introduction of our board members by Professor CP Choi, the outgoing president.

A special gift-a book of 5000 years of Korean History-was presented to each family of the group, and a Swedish traditional hamper was given by the group as an expression of gratitude for the invitation.

Today’s welcoming luncheon was one of the major annual events hosted by the Korean-Swedish Association for over 14 years, and we sincerely hope that the group enjoys the trip and makes great memories about Korea.

The Motherland Tour Group will stay for 2 weeks in Korea to learn more about Korean culture and their Korean roots.

The Adoption Centre in Sweden is organizing the annual visit to Korea for adoptive children together with their adoptive parents.

This year there will be 38 people including 3 tour leaders.

For the past 12 years, our Association hosted a welcoming luncheon for the Group and this year we will hand over "Hand Book of Korea"  as a gift from our Association to adoptees at the luncheon.

The luncheon will take place as follows and you are most welcome to join at the luncheon and welcome the "Motherland Tour Group"  from Sweden.
